Spent a bit of time out that way this year.
Like any old gold town really, full of iron rubbish and retired caravanner's.
Few spots east worth looking at.
A lot of fine gold, match head sized stuff,

spent two weeks there in August. Detecting buddy found 7 bits I now have a beaut bullet collection. There is gold around but like everywhere very hard to find some
