There could be a couple of reasons for missing targets in an area you are sure you have been over
My first thought would be swing speed .... slow right down !
You may be surprised at what pops out
Especially deeper targets

Yer Sandta..This time i discriminated out just the iron...full sensitivity....and very slow sweeps...The xterra likes a faster sweep...but for those deeper smaller coins...Definitely much slower is the go. :Y:

Congrats on your oldest coin so far, amazing how many signals you can isolate by slowing down your swing speed. Makes you wonder how many targets might have been overloooked in the past if going a little too fast.

The 1910 cleaned with 99.9% LJ...in a bottle :lol: :lol: :Y: Its in poor condition..but ill still take it.

I also found this thismorning but had to wait till the LJ cleaned it a bit ...Not sure what sort of pendant it is

Na Danny..It was built in the 80s...Everything's found in the land fill that they used to build up the ground..Wish i new where it came from

My aunty came here today and swung a gpx 5000 for a couple of hours for just pull tabs and aluminum nuggets...Increased my confidence of the xterras discrimination....just that bit more :Y: :lol: :lol:

Went for a swing for an hour thismorning at an old Army camp...That runs onto a mates property..He told me that it has had a fair bit of detecting in the past...But i thought id give it a look..Unfortunately no coins this time but found a couple of things. :Y:

not sure what this is...At first i thought it could have been a bracelet of some kind....but its pretty long for a bracelet.....It looks as though its made of copper :Y:
