Interesting, only mentioned on two alternative type news sites though... if it was really found why is it not on more bigger news sites?

The dna of the Australian aboriginal change a lot when
Australia was settled by a wave of immigrants from India little more than 4,000 years ago, a genetic study shows,
They lasted long enough to leave an imprint in the Aboriginal dna, and would have come by boat.
A lot of sailors thru time hit the west coast of Australia but as to them living very long here in Australia,
I am very sceptical as the local tribes would make short work of them.
But vikings in Australia.
I would ask for why would they build here,
even if blown of course, they would make every effort to get out.
Salted ground I say.

Do you have any links to further details of this event?

I wouldn't bother DrD,
From the World news daily report's Disclaimer.

All characters appearing in the articles in this website even those based on real people are entirely fictional and any resemblance between them and any persons, living, dead, or undead is purely a miracle.

The Archeologist quoted is a real professor at Sydney Uni, but I suspect that is the only true part of the story. I might email him tomorrow and ask!

I would very very interested to hear what he has to say DrD.

Cheers,
Billy.

Edit: I just saw backcreek's post but would still be interested. ;)

Now I am no expert on WA geology but the photo of the ruins in that pic looks like it is in a very different climate than the north coast of WA....just sayin'

And if viking remains had been found buried with weapons and artefacts the whole country would have heard about it before now

Total BS!
