For 35 years every local has insisted that my mums creeks had the most gold in the area back between the two big wars. id believe it, it seems to have all the tell tale signs of it including having several well known mines just over the hill (the big wonder). Mums finally selling the place and ive never had a proper look, id be happy for someone to take what they find. wed just like to know if all the years of talk were true. It's only a half hour to Forster NSW but there's plenty of room on the farm to camp, its 500 acres with several kilometres of bedrock creeks all easily accessed by car.
any ideas?
