Makes it all worthwhile hey, at least they had fun and a swim, and a small swing in the sand for some salted targeting retrieval too. :Y:

I think it is worth it just to see their faces light up as they find an item that has been quietly salted.
Recently I purchased some junk jewellery just for this and the two M's (M1, M2), Kato has her own skills now and wants to be left alone to practice them. :) :brokenh:

I was able to drop a 5c into the hole they were both digging without being caught out (ha), they were digging the signal from the pointer being too close at the time Gh.
And, Yeah, backs all loopy AR :Y:

enough buckles for a horse harness, there were a few lead heads around, so, I'm guessing sulky shed and the kids were playing cowboys when it was probably still visible ,.... nothing but grass now, and all the buckles came from a garage shed sized area.
Was great to pull out a full TEXAS JUNIOR pistol

Wow, buckle city! Pretty good spot to explore and decent number of coins - do you reckon a 1940-50's house? :)
Not exactly sure Gp, it was a surprise to me, I was exploring a really old track and decided to see what was off to one side for no particular reason, so I just lucked on it, havn't even lifted a finger for research yet, could even be that the lead heads were shot from gings during boy wars, they weren't in any particular line at all, so even the old shed theory could turn into just an old trap deteriorating out in the bush (back then) with harness in situ, and maybe someone threw the harness on the ground so they could play ,... or emptied it and took the trap/sulkey/drey away. One day I'll get back and explore a bit further afield. :Y:

And the pistol, I like the pistol a lot (very much even)

they made them so nice back then.
1491750557_20170410_004617.jpg

imagine being the kid that scored that for their birthday, horsehead handle n all.
1491750661_20170410_004630.jpg

and imagine the futile frantic search for it, probly went back a few times to look, always knowing it was there somewhere, or wondering if someone made off with it ,.... woulda been tears for sure.
