Nothing to do with prospecting, but I made a painting of a wave.

A resin pour ??

Not resin Redfin, just acrylic paint and floetrol a paint conditioner.
By the way Redfin, redfin is my absolute favourite fresh water fish to eat. Delicious.

about 5 hours from prepping the
wood to final finish.

Wow nice work and quick too. I like that chunk of wood too. I love to see those big camphor laurel trees but I didn't know they looked so good dead

thanks moneybox, great timber, unfortunately a lot of it gets exported, a lot to South Korea, by the container load,
they like it better than us, a majority of it goes to make kitchen chopping boards, locally and abroad. cheers RR.

We do both acrylic and resin, all shapes, sizes and colors.
The one below is approximately 1.2 m in diameter and was made for a bathroom reno, two walls white tiles, the rest grey with all black fittings.

Redfin thats an amazing piece, looks like a planet with clouds and fire. Will look stunning a a wall indeed.

Made this for the little lady so she could have something to play when away camping..... she wont take her pro fiddle out bush.
I modeled it on the early pochette (pocket) violin used by travelling musicians in days gone by.

It was 10 months in the making, hand carved from a single piece of camphor laurel from a tree in our yard that I had to cut down.
The other bits and pieces are recycled from an old violin and guitar.
Doesnt sound too bad for a home made job...

Ozzie thats really beautiful, such a gorgeous instrument and a great idea and will surely sound lovely out in the bush.

Hello Adrian, Well done, any chance of a small video, I would love to hear it, like most violinists I am always looking for a better sounding instrument, and I am not too keen on taking my good violin into the bush. I know that you can buy violin kits from USA, I have heard a few, some sound great and some not very nice at all. I am Hermann's wife. CHeers, Lahnette.
