Hunt #3 - Team Bogan was back at the beach after another long hiatus - and although still heavily sanded in we found a break and some errosion and had a bit of a hunt.

We also welcomed a new honorary member of Team Bogan ... GOLDPICK!

Yup - I think the thought of us finding the other half of his gold bangle was too much so he came down and joined the team for the search! :D

Well - we didn't find the gold bangle half but here is some of what we did find ...

Not a ton of targets but we did manage to find a few treasures ... keys, sinkers, modern coins, a German coin that delaminated itself in the water, junk, and these ....

First off the CTX scored a nice 925 ladies ring ...

Then not long afterward ...

All in all a 4 hour hunt with a new Team Bogan member ( and a very nice guy!) - who is welcome on our hunts anytime! ;)

Three rings in one hunt ties our personal hunt record so a very good session with extremely good company.

Good to see the vids, and to see you'se are doing well right from the start this year.
Cheers and Beers.
Silver.

Good share , and good to see the rubbish cleared off our beaches as well

Good luck for the rest of the year fellas :D

Cheers

Well done on the rings guys, maybe my luck will turn next trip whilst the conditions are favorable. Aside from my sinkers, the English pottery was my my best find, using ceramic mode on the Explorer. :D

Wow I had to find this thread on page 2 so it's been a while since Team Bogan was out on the beach.

Tonight we decided to have a look on the low tide and here are the finds ...

We got a mixture of stuff - $6.50 in clad coins - two foreign coins we can't make out without cleaning - dog tag - a broken three pence - some bling jewellery - a Michael Kors watch - and sinkers with some junk mixed in ...

We had some fun but until we get a storm it's all sanded in and not worth the time at the moment. No gold ... :(

Glad to see you've managed to locate a few targets, the watch must have been a screamer. Last few trips down there have resulted in only a few sinkers, coins and aluminium, nothing drastic seems to be occurring with sand movement as yet. I have gone back to park detecting due to good areas being continually sanded in, which is a bit frustrating. May go to the beach tonight for another try with the PI detector instead. :)

well done guys, if you guys ever come up to wollongong NSW shoot me a PM and will take you to all the spots where i leave all the good stuff and only find the ring pulls and bottlecaps :/

Team Bogan went for a beach detecting session now that recent weather has shifted some sand and here are the finds ....

First hunt in a long time and the muscles are sore this morning but we had fun and after the dodge tide we will be back at it! :)

They've all been sitting there for a while PM,.... with the sinkers.

Bah humbug, as soon as I leave Adelaide the sand decides to shift at last! :D Anyway, good to see areas opening up again, and you back swinging again, I'm sure there's still a few gold rings out there just waiting to be found. ;)

Thanks everyone for the nice comments ... We haven't gone anywhere and have been spectating from the sidelines for a while watching you all and your great finds! Life gets in the way of detecting sometimes, and our summer was pretty much storm free so it was a long wait to get back into it.

We were thinking/talking about you Goldpick tonight as we revisited the old hunting ground ... Here our the finds
