Hi

I finally had a day to detect down at the NSW south coast, my first swing of the 5000 since February.

I had decided on three spots following some research of the area I was going to visit and did not get past spot A.

My first piece, a lovely specimen of about 1.5 grams screamed as it was just under the surface on some quartz gravel. The second piece came out of the top of a pile of quartz gravel.

Continued to wander and detecting likely ground with heaps of lead targets cleaned out!.

Here is some photos and the link to the video.

G'day Willo
Nice going there champ
Looks like you had a ball and those trees, well some of them are huge.

Hey there Willo,

You didn't happen to be out and about down on the South Coast on Saturday by any chance south of Batemans Bay. I was having a pan in a creek and could hear a detector making some sweet noises not far from where I was.

Some great finds there. Wish my 705 would find some colour like that.
