Sweet, where did you source the shovel from? :)

Remember Nugget organized some locally made shovels? I called them and the nice lady said they had a display model. I sweat talked her into selling it to me. I didn't realize they had made scoops as well so I bought it too. They will only make orders of ten or more. I got the impression that they don't get time to make them or they are not a high priority.

Damn that shovel is a beast. Would love to get one!

Were those tools brought or did you make them?

I bought them. I will try to see if they are interested in making more. They didn't seem too keen yesterday. They have a lot of work on and making these isn't the best use of their workers.

That is a sweet digger, i made my own the other day sick of getting on my knees to plug will post it tomorrow only cost $10 bucks but need work boots to operate it, would much prefer yours ;)

Mine is an army disposals, foldup job. You would never break it, but its not good at making small plugs.

Rocket, you could cut the sides down a bit, (smaller plugs) I do not think you would lose much strength.

Cheers, DD

I'm starting to get blisters from using my lesche in the ever hardening ground. I do have a short lesche shovel, though starting to wish I had the longer handled version. I guess I though the shorter one would be a bit more discrete in some areas. :D ;)

Hi rj
Nice scoop same as mine C&J well made and neat welding SS
Put foam hand grips on mine to soften the handle
Thought it was going to be heavy but you get used to it with the right approach
Added a magnet at the bottom to catch any iron

See you on the beach sometime

3 hours or so before arvo shift yesterday. No silvers but the 1930 penny makes up for it. ;)
I got a couple of interesting relics. A nice, almost complete "Jacksons Four Lever" padlock would be the day's best find. Next is part of a Hopalong Cassidy toy gun followed by a 9mm blank round. Interesting it was found not a million miles from a courthouse. 2 harmonics reeds still bolted together but bent. Not a bad hunt.
The last pic is from a quicky after work, (don't tell Rocket). Good to get back to a night hunt and I was expecting pre decs but got a few goldies. I'll take em.
