Got out n about for a couple of hours early this morning
Was a spot close to home. The ground is so dry and hard
Although most were BB's was happy to come home with a couple of silvers.. even if only 50%ers

Could possibly say 'ohio dominico ltd'

That second 51 is looking crisp Sandta :p , maybe the dominico thing was on a string to a jumper zipper, or down low on a bootlace type advertiser from the old days.
Nice finds mate ! 8)

the ground is tough digging, I was leaving the deeper signals yesterday. Get them in winter, or when we get alot of rain. Your tag says Dominion ltd.

  .........could be a tobacco tamper it is about the right size.

Dominion Tobacco Ltd traded out of Wellington NZ

Could say CUT....

Ye ,i had to walk away from a few targets too
Anything beyond about 6" was near impossible
Without making a real mess
So close ...yet so far
Im sure they were all florins too ;)
Oh well , in the ground for a few more months wont hurt them

Great Hunting Sandta , those 51's were minted in different parts of the world . The second 51 was minted in London as it has p l under the coat of arms and the first in Melbourne . I know a bit about the 1951s as its the only silver I found :) Always great hunts Sandta .

Slightly worn but nice looking thrippy mate, enough to make you smile a lot ! :Y: 8)

Well ive been reading about everyone else out detecting ,
And seeing some excellent results too.
so managed to get out today myself for a couple of hours.
Its been raining a bit lately and is much much cooler making it quite pleasurable
The ground however is still bloody hard below two inches
