G'Day Sandta,
Nice collection of pre decimal coins and old toys, the rain put an end to my early morning action too, bugger.

Nice collection of silvers Sandta (and those nasty rivet things), I suspected your other coin was a George III, the obverse pretty much confirms it - on ya. ;)

I had an unexpected day off today, so headed back to the old farm i visited last friday
It was pretty easy to find where i left off, as there was a sheet of corregated iron there
I CAREFULLY (for fear of snakes)moved the sheet of iron , and started swinging.... BAM ...
First target ... Coin... :p

just awesome to dig early stuff, should be a fob watch....waiting for the gothic silver to appear!

The old hidden penny in the tap handle trick aye  the big chunk might be a clamping mount for some tool
the decorated metal piece looks interesting, a lot of top finds there top work :)

Some wonderful old coins there Sandta, the thickness of the first coin should be a giveaway on whether it is an 1805 or earlier cartwheel type (say a 1797 two pence).

Can I come and detect your site. :D
