96 m.m. in the last 24 hours , in Sydney . Still raining ......

I have lived in Sydney for many years . Never seen it rain , every day , for so many weeks .

It is all over Sydney , more flooding . We have had another 30 m.m. since 9 a.m.

Fingers crossed for all those in the danger areas, let's hope they are spared the devastation experienced by those up north. Best wishes Dave :Y: :rainbow:

Now 68 m.m. from 9 a.m. non stop . From the Terry Hills weather station , as I am close to it . Less rain in the city .

Got to 125 m.m. for the 24 hrs. at Terry Hills . No rain but strong wind and cloud , to day .

So ... According to BOM , Terry Hills has had 1,012 m.m. of rain since Jan . 1 st . Has Sydney moved into the tropics ? No, it is climate change drier times ....

The Sydney de -sal. plant is running well .......

No denying it is a tragic loss of life and property for this period of flooding on East coast in 2022.
How ever the "Climate Change" promoters should read about the history of flooding.
Flooding, drought and other forces of nature have been and will again occur over and over in the coming decades.
Just one of many examples through the course of time.

" By 1852, gold was being mined on Araluen Creek, around what is now Araluen. There were several mining villages in the area. Araluen experienced a great population increase during the gold rush. It experienced a decline after a "flash flooding" in 1860 virtually destroyed the town, killing 24 people. Another flash flood came in March 2012 killing one person."
