I have just been hooked on prospecting, both panning and detecting. I have a lot to learn and having a great time doing it, it may seem crazy but I don't care if I find gold or not, just enjoy the outdoors, everything else is a bonus. I am heading of to Mackay in early July and spending a few days at Claremont, maybe I will get lucky, but I know I will have a great time. will let you all know how I go on my return. hope to chat and learn from all on the forum.
