New to Western Aus

Gday Fellow Prospectors,

Just recently moved to WA and keen to get shown around by a few local spots. Ill be based in Perth but should be able to get out to Kalgoolie and surrounding areas on the weekends.

Beers are on me for whoever is keen to show me the WA ropes.

Any info on the area would also be appreciated.

mate, Im in Mandurah..weve tried the "get out to Kalgoorlie for weekends"....sorry to have a go at you but youre dreaming, you will spend more time in the car driving than you will camping or detecting,,,you need about 4 days for a hit and run mission...keep dreaming though, its what keeps me going between trips....

Bombsaway is right Dean, even a long weekend would be stretching it time wise. Southern Cross is a couple of hundred k's closer to Perth, good ground around there.
