Quick hunt this arvo at my relic site. Low on relics, but scored a 1800s english sixpence, very worn, but enough on it to make me conclude its 1800s. I have previously found an 1863 penny on this site as well. The ring is stamped 925, it screamed in the 40s, prob not old. Some pocket money as well

Looks like an 1871 sixpence from here RKT,..... although with some changes Harril has made to the forum I can't home in super close on the photos like in the days of old(2-4weeks ago) so I may be out by a million years.

What setting do you use on your 705 ? I have borrowed one and am loving it !

All metal, auto ground balance, then drop it back three points. Auto noise, sensitivity 23, but bump it up when the ground isnt noisy....too high in sensitivity, and I get false high tone peeps.
