Here is my home made sluice, it misses nothing and I love it.
In this video I have it set up as a recirc unit, it runs on a motorbike battery for several hours and yes it has a paint roller tray as the feed tray. This simply pops out to allow use as a stream flow sluice as well. It has small ribbed matt up front for about 25cm then miners moss and finally some marine carpet. The bottom half is topped off with diamond door matt from bunnings. There is only one actual rifle as I found when i ran 5 rifles, it was too turbulant and washed gold out. I love this sluice, it just works so damn well.
