The Bottle cleaned up.

What age are the coins Cheese? Cool snake buckle, also really like that lock, looks to be in real good condition. :)

The coins are 1907 both of them, I lime juced em, I must say
lime juce leaves a better surface colour on the coin than lemmon juce.
I do not clean many items any more, just some bad coins for there date.
And yes I am wrapped with the snake or duck buckle,
I would love to hear some one else view on its age?
For me I think it was made around 1890s.

I know lime juice is stronger than lemon juice Cheese  ,.... I wrecked a nice old penny with it once ;) :) .

Why aren't coin holders full when you find them? Darn it.

Another nice haul of relics

Would love to find one of those coin holders intact, and as Wally mentioned, still full of coins. :D

So are most of these finds still coming from an old dump, or just around existing ruins?

The finds are from the old town dump, but a lot was carried a short distance
and then just discarded. like I said looks like the local tribe was making use of the items there
but i am finding it harder to ping signals, soooo much trash there.

Cmon Cheese,.... show us all the coins that must have been protected in that pretty little canister. :p

Imagine the old boy sporting two of them(cufflinks) all shining and bright,.... really thin looking plug there, either a cheapie or were they thinner like that way back when. :)
