Have noticed a minelab F3C mine detector for sale on ebay and gumtree, the description is saying its the same as the sdc2300, asking $3200 on one listing and $2000 on another, just thought that I would let any newbies looking for an sdc2300 know that while it appears very similar to the sdc2300 it is not the same in performance and can not be upgraded or made to work the same as the sdc2300, its a mine detector and not a dedicated gold nugget detector.
Sdc2300 Pulse Induction: Multi Period Fast (MPF) @ 3,000 signals per second
Frequency: 3kHz
Weight: 2.3 Kg
Enhance/Fine gold type of recovery processing.
F3C
Pulse Induction: Bi-Polar Multi Period Sensing (MPS)
Frequency: 1.25 kHz
Weight 2.6 Kg
There is a bit more information on the specs on the Minelab website.
cheers
