Meteorite

Did any else just see a quite spectacular meteorite? Just kicking back by a fire and the sky light up and even the ground did. Due to my screwed up back and neck all I seen was a flash of light on the ground. Just wondering if anyone else seen it.

I find it highly suspicious that the meteorites that do hit the ground, always seem to land right in the middle of a crater.

I think I saw it too, Bjay.

Not the actual meteorite, but the sky suddenly lit up and I thought it was lightning in the distance - it was down your way.

i saw the sky light up early last night near the nsw/vic border and reports of pieces of a meteorite have been found and collected near Mallacoota vic on FB so very interesting.
