Right having gone through it again

3 pairs of shoes is worth 30 So One shoe is worth 5, The guy is worth 5, he's got shoes on so that's another 10, he is holding a pair of the brown things that are worth 4 so One is worth 2, So the Guy is worth 19

So One Shoe is 5 the guy is worth 19 X 2 = 43

I can definitely find a nugget before I work this one out. My head just doesn't work like that although there was a time, I can't quite remember when, that I would have a fighting chance :/

third pair of numbers = adding the 1st & 2nd pair of numbers D+E then subtract B
so (15 + 10)-2 = 25-3 = 23

You lost me here DED, (15 + 10)-2 = 25-3 = 23

How does 25-3 = 23?
Hahaha typo . . Or is 1st of April?
Yes Nightjar, I didnt see that mistake.
Supposed to read
25-2=23

Two answers
20 .....5+5x2=20
Or using BODMAS Order of operations
15.......5+(5x2)=15

4th rule of order of operations
Do x and division before + and -

43. I can see that there are quite a lot of us who could be potential politicians. Maybe treasurer? We could do with some creative maths for the next budget.

I was going to say that I could do with some maths lessons but I'm too bloody old to put them to good use, LOL.
