Is This Lead?

Is this lead?, biggest piece I found its heavy, shinier than any other lead I have dug up, its about 1cm found near Mudgee NSW in old gold fossicking area.

Looking at the white patches that looks very much like lead oxide so I would say yes,why the rest looks so clean? I don't know!

Maybe a lump of solder, too shiny to be pure lead and definitely has been melted.

Could be galena.

Do you mean from when they ran the gold over the mercury to make an amalgam? So it could have some gold inside

I have no idea if it could be that but it is the most interesting theory

Any chance it could be a Silver nugget. Have seen photos very similar.
