id the axe heads

Hi all just cleaned up some finds two of them being axe heads they have a design on the head anyone have a idea on what brand and possible age of them. cheers ivo

Cool finds mate, can't help you with the ID though, let me know if they have Britt or Turk on them, could add a new spin on "The Play in the Fields"

Yes I can ID them. Definitely axe heads Sorry Ivo. Couldn't help myself. I'm seeing my dad in a week or so. He used to be a carpenter and bushy. Collects hammers of all things. I'll ask him about them.

Note that all except the centre one appear to have the curved detail on the axe heads.

Gday ivo, thats a kelly axe. Reinforced head made for felling those tough hardwood forest trees. The odd patern is designed to help keep the edge I think. Would have to do some research to give you a better answer. TGW
