Never actually went because nobody wanted to go with me so I just mowed the grass and did some yard work. Boring stuff for sure. I'll have to post it earlier next time I guess.

I grew up on Hoddles Creek. We had a house and a bit of land on Gembrook Rd.
We even had an old flooded mine shaft in the backyard.

I remember nearly every weekend seeing people running dredges in the creek. This was back in the early 90's.

A panned a few specks in the creek at the back of our place, but i didn't have the gold fever back then. Teenage girls and fast cars had better appeal for an 18 year old.

There was a few good spots down there.

Has anyone tried and had any luck since?
I hear the locals get a bit upset by the sight of anyone on their creek and god forbid you have a pan in your hand .
I lived at Warby for 6 years until 15 months ago and wish I was into prospecting then.
