Shillings cleaned up well, florin was from another spot, some of the sixpence and threepence are toasted.

Took the kiddies out Friday to the beach park, Mum stayed with them while I detected, a sixpence and shilling were deep as the sand had shifted with the high tide putting an extra foot of sand over the little spot where the other silvers came from.
Anyway it's a good spot to keep detecting as the sand moves and cuts form.

I would say that my little spot is virgin ground even though I know of two others that swing the coil there.
I think though the rocks keep them away as it's hard yakka digging and especially hard when the coins are right on the clay.

One silver, a penny, half penny, small dolphin ring, lots if crusty coins from the water and an interesting rock. Considering it is so round one might think it tumbled a long way from its origin.

I shall keep going to this spot as the sand and rocks shift often.
Until next time, happy detecting

Got out for two late night swings but not alot about. One water hunt produced a few coins and sinkers and the other was just enough for a big Mac, the surprise came as we walked through the park on the way back to the car. An inch in the sandy soil under 6 inches of bark was a nice crisp 25 tid signal, had me thinking silver ring but out popped a Florin. Should clean up well as the condition is good.

There was another crisp 25 signal 6 feet away but for the life of me I couldn't find it. I will go back another time to see if I can retrieve it.
Until next time happy detecting

Yeah Heatho that would be good, maybe they should stop pumping the waste into the creeks.

Got out for a couple of swings, not alot about but it was just good to get out for some fresh air. Crusty spot was still producing some coins but need the sand to move more to reach the really deep targets.
2 rings one junker and 1 silver were thd highlight for a Monday afternoon swing, Abraham wants his own detector and scoop, so I will give him the 505 and find a scoop for him to have dome fun with.

Crusty half penny and an unrecognisable silver, they don't hold up too well in the clay layer.
