Got out last night for a park swing around the corner which I have detected many times before with the 505 and 705. Tonight though I was armed with the nox and got a few special deep finds, the token was 10 to 12 inches deep and the powder flask around 8 inches. The ring which is bling was 2 inches deep all came from a 2 meter squared patch. I left another target as it was deep and at least 20 inches down or more.

Two days ago my kiddies found a baby bird on the ground. We couldn't put it back in the nest as it was too high so I made a makeshift nest and secured it in amongst the branches lower beneath the nest. I fed it some bugs and left it. Next day it rained and the nest was wet, my daughter said it fell out again so I took steps to insure it had a fighting chance. I fed it made a new nest out of cardboard lined with tissue paper then got some dry grass then I fed it again and built a birdbox. Two days later it's still alive and very vocal so looks like mummy is feeding it again while looking after her other chick/chicks higher up in the tree. ?

Got out last night to a nudist beach, we pulled up and saw around 25 cars so we veered in the other direction until they all left. We got a few coins a young bloke I met the other day Tyler took me to his spot where he pulled out over 500 coins ranging from 1800s to modern day but no rings and most were surface finds lying on bedrock. Was a good night and once the sand shifts off the bedrock we will go back for another go at it.

500! Must've been a popular spot over the years.

Yes it was a popular nudist beach back in the day and also had a pier which is all rubble now.. I will be water detecting there on a super low tide with it being all flat bedrock. :Y:
