Mavic owners dont do the update!!!
My mavic is pretty much bricked atm.....
Video feed freezes, goes black and white, says disconnected. When you turn it on it says flight has been limited to 30 mtrs by 50 mtrs. Take off anyway with out video and it has 'take off error, contact DJI' Heaps of errors.

After reverting back to go4 app .15 I just installed .18 and all seems fixed. This is todays version of .18.

I've been playing with this. The Government has some resources that can do similar without having to fly over the area. Its quite a mission to navigate this stuff but it does work when you get your head around it.

I am so over DJI Go4...
So testing Litchi, another flight app.
Another learning curve for sure, but rock solid compared to Go4...
This is my first automated mission. In a wide open space!! Set up on the big screen PC, then sent to the drone and press play!!!
Nerve racking I can tell you but it was flawless! And now that is saved in the cloud, I can fly that same route day in day out, just concentrating on the camera, and let the Mavic fly itself!!!
Cant wait to set up some complex missions ...once I trust it...!

I saw an ad in a brochure the other day for a drone and it came with VR goggles.
I have since seen many drones for sale in brochures but none with VR.
Are there drones you can fly wearing VR or was the first ad BS?
How good would it be to have VR on while flying high over mountains, valleys, etc?
I would definitely get myself one then.

Litchi has VR, with head tracking too....
Me and my boys tried it out the other day!! It works, with just your phone and a VR headset, even a cardboard one!

I must admit though, flying FPV is a skill unto itself!, My oldest boy is fantastic at it! But the situational awareness is insane!
