In that case the NT and Queensland border

Thank you shaker.

https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/arts/heritage/museum-of-lands/borders/survey-qld-nt

Yes the original surveying was at 359 degrees 58 min 30 sec instead of 360 degrees so the error put the border 600 metres too far west at the Gulf meaning that Qld has actually taken some of the NT's land.

Clue one, "I might be straight but I'm not right (not correct), in fact, I'm a bit to the left."

Clue two, "From where I am, we are bigger than we should be." I'm in Queensland.

Clue three, "I was started in 1884." Started in 1884 and finished in Sep 1886.

Clue four, "I'd give you a starting point but the Poep wouldn't agree to it." Starts at the 138th meridian on the 26th parrellel at Poepell Corner.

Hope you all had fun trying to work it out folks. It's just not fun if it's to easy. :D

Over to you shaker.

Cheers

Doug
