Absolute treasure trove mate, you're one very lucky man. Awesome and I hope it continues to produce the goods, would love to see a Sovereign come out of there. :) GL&HH All the best. :Y: :D

Day off today, so managed to get a good solid afternoon's effort in, and gee are my legs paying for it! :D On this occasion I put a real effort in to try and pick up on any missed targets, and also faint tones that might lead to something promising.

Probably one the best finds made today was a mistaken identity of a shotgun cartridge end, when cleaned up it was in fact an 1887 Queen Victoria Jubilee pin (from 1837-1887).

Two more dog tags, both from 1892- 1893, a silver gilded bracelet, naval button, two gilded copper thimbles, decorative lead buckle piece, fob watch cover, pair off cufflink ends, grass lock cover, and an unusual thin lead pendant with stamped decorative pattern.

Felt like it took forever to tally up that number of targets, and thats not including all the deep iron and roofing sheeting that I dug. All this was found with the 13x11" coil, so you can see that it has no issues at all on small low conductor targets at depth.

Also unearthed my first complete piece of glassware for this site, it is a Kruschen Salts jar.

More field photos up later. :)

The strap looks pretty old, WW1 or earlier most likely. That was seven hours straight detecting to get that lot, think I only took a ten minute drinks break sometime in the arvo.

Mmm, does look very similar to the linked one, still got no idea though - not an ammo belt, and probably not a bracelet - arrrgg, google is driving me nuts. :D

Makes you wonder if it was a clothing business. more thimbles and more buttons.... Some very nice finds and I am awaiting that haul of coinage from that site, any landmarks -ie: Large Trees? :) ;) :Y:

See the face on your watch Gp (well, 1/2 a face). :Y:

Hey Heatho, with that bracelet thingy, is it possible to be a long sleeve shirt keeper upperer (technical term). They were springy and usually silver.
Just a thought.
