Hi Pete,the bigger ones were in an old dry creek bed.I was able to maintain close to factory settings and up sens a little where possible.
A lot of patience basically and adapting to different scenarios.I have had problems with it in other areas like Heathcote ect.

I know mate gone back to a area I started at, obviously been done over heaps but Im still getting some if you call it that hehe that 12 evo nugget finder & gpx5000 are working a treat last good sized nugget I found in this area was 2.1grams

Went out to Miliagul over the weekend pick up a nice bit 3.91 gm after cleaning ,about 5 inch down in the gravel wash thought it was rubbish but Minelab Gold got me out of the habit of assuming I know what a target is, and now I dig all targets
was in an area with hardly any diggings and about 15 meters from the car, got it in the first 5 min of swinging then got zip for the rest of the day but all good. :Y: :Y:

Anyone that's seen me swing a pick knows that a can dig a hole quick.
Hey Bigwave, no VB cans at the bottom of THIS hole.

Headed out to a spot I hadn't tried before this morning then back at midday before it got too hot.
Ended up with the following, was stoked with seven little bits and two specimens. Crushed the two specimens for a total of just under a gram.
