OMG this took freaking hours just to post a few photos, that's it no more, i'm done!!!
*throwing computer across the room*

Edit: A big thankyou to 7.62Marksman for you assistance in helping out a computer illiterate ninny like me. :Y: :)
Once I get this computer sorted I'll be more gooder at posting stuff, lol
Thanks 7.62, youre a legend

Great way to start out Flowerpot but it's difficult to keep it going at that rate. We did a similar thing. Found a 0.8 during our first DWAG muster and then picked up a 35g the following week. We thought "This is easy" but it's never happened since :(

Thanks Wishfull,
The larger piece has me rather excited as the inclusions have given me an indicator as to where it may have shed from it's matrix.
Virgin ground and no reef diggings nearby so it could be a really good thing.
I got rained out of there early this morning and only managed to squeeze an hour in but it was an hour well spent!
Got another 3 pieces, sub gram this time and from the same patch. Plenty more target's running in a nth east continuation off the patch im working on.

I did not want to leave as I'm sure you can all imagine but the weather was working against me and after checking my phone i had to come back to Melbourne to do some urgent call out jobs.

Will post some GOLD PORN for you all tonight or tomorrow after clean up.

Cheers

Flowerpot what a way to start your career in gold prospecting!
That's a serious nugget you managed to land for your first and is a beauty too.
Your hubby must know his stuff and if you set yourself big goals (which you did by finding that first piece) then you can achieve these dreams, just a matter of research and persistence.

Cheers

Thanks guys, it was very exciting to find that big one, did a dance and big happy carry-on.
Got to say tho Yellowfever, the hub was off scratching around with his xt17000, finding nought, (he has a 4500 now because I found that nug with my 5000) while I was digging up pieces of lead and then that baby, he came over while I was digging and helped me dig, I was pooped as I got the signal at the end of the detecting sesh. So he really didnt know his stuff he was just bumming around, now he takes detecting a bit more seriously, now he knows there is still gold in them there hills. :D  :Y: :Y: :Y:

Love the shape of the 1.4 your hubby got Flowerpot, its a very unique piece. :Y:

Thanks Bjay,
it is quite a rough reefey piece, maybe not far from it's source, unfortunatley he broke it in two where it is at it's thinnest, but it's still lovely. :p
