    coin and treasure detecting with a GPX5000

    Can anyone help with a suitable setup for detecting on a iron stone pebbly beach by an inland lake. Its a popular spot for swimming/boating and is full of trash. I have an 11" DD coil that I have never used.

    dry blower heaps

    I've found a run of dry blower heaps along an old gully/creek. Found a couple of small ones 1.5g total Some of the piles are all larger gravel and some seem to be finer and have a lot more soil in them. What would cause this and has either one got more potential to yield a nugget? Also is it...

    G'day, I'm from Stawell in Victoria, got a GPX5000 but not enough time to use it as much as I would like. have spent some time around Ararat and Great Western and found a .45g piece. Anyone out there know if there's any success to be had in the Iron Bark Forrest just north of Stawell? Cheers...
