G'day, I'm from Stawell in Victoria, got a GPX5000 but not enough time to use it as much as I would like.
have spent some time around Ararat and Great Western and found a .45g piece.
Anyone out there know if there's any success to be had in the Iron Bark Forrest just north of Stawell?

Hi Stoneage, welcome to the forum. I'm sure that you'll find info on the area in Google like we all do. Studying the hunt zone is part of the hobby and brings more enjoyment if you succeed as well. It's all part of the hobby/pastime. It's a good looking area and i think you will do ok with a bit if effort.
