    Eurasian Gold reduction

Bleach and hydrochloric acid works reasonably well, but gold must be in very small pieces and must not contain much silver. Karl

    Eurasian Gold reduction

Yep, you need some sort of license to buy it. I know that high concentration stuff can be used for no good, but I only need 45% acid to refine gold. Still no go. Karl

Hi Silver I won't know what was in the letter until I go to see my sister in few weeks time. But what make it spooky is that the letter was delivered on the day when you usually receive greeting cards for your birthday. I'm not good on the math, but I think that there is 365 to 1 chance to...

I used to mine opal in Coober Pedy in seventies and had friend in Andamooka. He used to make pretty cabs from matrix opal, using sugar and sulphuric acid. What he explained to me is that the sugar fill pores in the stone and the acid converts sugar to carbon. He told me it should work on any...

    Rain brings the Gold ??

Bit of truth in it. After the flooding you will find in some bends of river or creek flood gold. That is a gold that been just deposited by the flood and is sitting right on the surface. Karl

    1830 ?

That's why I used question mark after the date. It looks like it was gold plated and it has been in the ground for number of years, but not for hundred years. Karl
