Who has or has had sciatica?

Hi Guys, I know Sciatica is a bitch, I have suffered all my life with all forms of back pain from 3 fractures etc and tried all sorts of pills etc, most strong pills will make you constipated which acerbates the frikking pain. A suggestion I would like to pass on is the spray and the roll on...

    Saracen suspend Prospecting WA.

Hi All, Prospecting requests on Saracen tenure have escalated over the last 6-12 months in part due to word of mouth, and in part due to the elevated gold price which means prospectors want to make a quick buck. As a result, there has been an internal review on how to manage prospecting across...

    Erlistoun Station - Laverton W.A.

Great post MT, as you are aware I'm just up the road from you also on 1000000 ac and your comments hit the nail on the head, one important little bit I'd like to add is if you come across cattle please slow down, don't chase them, don't blast your horns to get them to move... be patient. As...

Tragedy at Wedge Island , WA

Looking back to some years ago, not many, there were deaths in Tassie, where three adults were deceased in a camper or small van. The conclusion to that tragic event was they went to sleep with the gas fridge going inside the van with no ventilation to the outside. It appears that this was...

    Frustrating!

What we are against is the prospectors making all these blasted extra tracks all over the property, they think it's their god given right just to make a road where they see something of interest. Like Madtuna said there before we aren't against the blokes coming out and metal detecting but with...

    Sluicing help

I made this and took it to the Palmer onto a mates lease and pulled 40grams in a week, I needed a rest afterwards though because feeding these on you own is hard work, I modified the spray bar to a semi external one as the original was in the road when shovelling gravel in the box.

    Sluicing help

Hi NJH, A good rule of thumb and a great guide to where to start with setting up you sluice is remember the 8 and 1 ratio, for every 8" long the sluice needs to be dropped on the front end by 1", so if yours is 40" long it requires to be dropped at the front by 5". I have been using this ratio...

Using a dredge in Australia for recreational prospecting is illegal - information and questions

I'm with you JohnB. I dredged for many years and not once did I feel I was doing any harm to the fish as they were always trying to get a feed from where I was working, and like someone also mentioned the mercury (if there was any present) would always be caught in the riffles of my dredge. As...

    Today I MADE

Today I made, I needed to break the boredom when stuck in camp so I converted my pump stand into a coffee table, Then I found an old 9kg gas bottle and made a cooker for my camp, rather than have a big fire it's contained and works a treat. Cheers, Goldslave
