Joe Byrne was photographed by Lindt, dead, strung up in front of the Benalla jailhouse in 1880, purportedly the first press photograph published in Australia.

I was born in Cardiff Wales, Where I am is known for gold

I'll go with Harry Southwell Steve but cannot find where he in now as they do not say where or when he was buried. Born in Cardiff Wales in 1882.

The 1927 film "Down Under"
The film was financed by West Australian businessmen and shot in that state atErlistoun Station,Lavertonand Perth.
Southwell claimed at the time he had a contract to make six films for distribution in Britain.
It was the first and only production of Anglo-Australian Films.

He liked making films about the Kelly's.
