Eldorado / Beechworth Victoria camping spots information and questions

There are actually quite a lot of camping spots along Reedy Ck and most aren't marked on the map, however accessibility may depend on whether you are tenting or pulling a van. A few may require 4wd when boggy but most are accessible with a 2wd.

Easter may be quite busy, especially if the rain gods smile on us, so you might not get a premium site.

Mick there are lots of good camping spots all around the north east of victoria. Reedy Creek is all bush camping but along Yackandandah Creek there are nice spots with campgrounds and toilets, out on Snowy Creek below Mitta the same and also on the Buckland. Long weekends are terrible. you need to get there early to get a spot. Ah Yungs on the Buckland and the Lightning on Snowy are large with plenty of room others sometimes only room for a car and a tent.

gidday mick I will be there 2nd week easter but am heading around eldorado area. will be staying in beechworth at caravan park and travelling around, mite be able to hook up at some stage
