Smoky bandit I wish you were right about pennies meaning silvers will be there as well.
I found 38 pennies in a 2 sq m patch, been back many times no sign of silver.
Told it was old site of a Main Roads camp, so could only think of blokes sitting around gambling on cards. Found evidence of ladies presence, old metal banana shaped hair clips.

Might not be many silvers, I have detected some railways camps and found nothing but coppers - and loads of bottles if you can locate the dumps.
