Pom Kiwi in Byron Hinterland

Hi Folks,

I'm hopefully getting out there next weekend (Sat 10th Nov) if I can get an overnight pass...

If anyone is interested in joining me for a bit of panning and detecting in the Drake-ish sorta area please reply on here to start with, I'm almost at the 10 post mark.

Planning on taking my ute, dog, swag and a few handtools and finding a free camping spot. Could do with a buddy for this sort of thing!

I have a 6 year old that I'm getting into going camping with but just to easy close to home trips so far, I don't want to spoil it by taking her on some wild goose chase of a dud first off. So this first one is just me going for a bit of a recon.

Dig for Labradorite down Bulmers rd 20 km west of Casino or dig in Ewingar creek for smoky quartz and gold.
