Shame the multi is not a true multi-frequency & only selectable frequency.
Also a shame that the multi version doesn't include the 61khz frequency option IMO.

Interesting and sort of unexpected, hopefully they included the Impact's 99 tones option.

It is going to be available here. Official release date isn't until February.

We will be stocking them at Maldon Gold Centre.

The Gold Racer is still available and there's been no mention of it being discontinued.

We have plenty in stock and don't plan to stop selling them.

I haven't tested the Gold Racer at the beach and we haven't received stock of the Kruzer series yet - expected around mid February.

Nenad from Phase Technical might have some more information about how various models perform on the beach.

Either way, this series of detectors should put a good dent in MX Sport and AT Max sales at that price. Feature wise they obliterate a lot the direct US opposition, not to mention being USB upgradable. Imagine if Nokta/Makro had a similar marketing regime as Garrett, with You Tube detectorists using their various detectors. That's why Garrett is so successful - heqvy marketing.

It's difficult to know what effect this new release of detectors will have on other brands.

We see consistent sales across all of our brands because some customers are loyal to a specific brand.

Release date is mid February and pre-orders are selling pretty fast.

Probably won't see many user reports before the end of February.

Feature set of the Kruzer is somewhere between Racer 2 and Impact.

Impact will still be the premium model in terms of features, but waterproof to 5m is the Kruzer's big selling feature!

Only time will tell, but I am thinking so too.

Performance, balance, etc. remains to be seen with the Gold Kruzer.
One thing it has up it's sleeve is if it starts raining you don't have to run to the car!
The other thing is, any unit that is waterproof is also dust proof. This is one big thing I like about the AU Gold Finder over the Gold Racer.

Also, and what I do with my GPZ, CTX etc. is when it gets too dirty I just hose it off. Gives it that crispy clean look, apart from the character building scratches haha.

But back to the Gold Kruzer, looks like a couple of new things in Tone Break, and iSat / iMask have been separated - very nice!
The other thing that is quite intriguing is Micro mode.....hmmmmm

Not much mention about the E.U.D Function? I thought this would of been a Big selling point also due to a lot of high frequency detector’s not getting a great deal of depth!.
