Hit that little beah area for an hour before picking up the kids from school...Had to have a laugh as when i got back to the car 2x $2 coins were missing..there was a small hole in my left pocket just big enough to poke ya finger thrugh Lucky i put the one ond only silver in my right pocket...1916 thripy..was a nice clear tone down easy 10 inches....That 15inch seems to give a good signal on silvers :Y: :lol: the finds less $4 :8 :Y:

ring is more like something industrial that would hold an o-ring ,... but, I'll check for hallmarks just on the off chance any way ,.... ya need to stitch that pocket up mate. ]

Very nice old silvers mate, top finds.

It's that copper content and the ocean that is the bane of all our problems Smokey ,... at least you've gotten one for the collection, give it some years to reoxidise and mayhap it will start to look better a bit, just all standing out a bit now is all. 8)

Its good that the have exchanged it...i thought that they might try and say you must have lent on it or something and not honoured the warranty.. :Y: :Y: :Y:

yeah minelab seemed pretty helpful so am happy with the outcome , they do get the occasional big coil in with the same crack apparently
