"Where can I pan for good size gold around Creswick", is probably not the right sort of question to ask when new on a forum ;). Most common answer would be try first next to where there's some small sized gold. Research is the key, in preference to expecting someone to give away that sort of info online for all to see. :|

Don't want to seem blunt, but a small amount of reading related info on the forum, and checking out mines department records on the types of gold found in that region will steer you in a generally good path to successful digging.

Wal.

Not really a straight forward question to answer. People could tell you where they have found gold, or where it has been found b4. But you need to learn where to look when researching. If anybody knew where the good size gold is they'd be out there getting as much as they could. 1st you look for info, then you use that info (a lot you can find in the discussions we have had on the forum), to look for a area where gold has been found, and then look for gold. Reading the ground and vegetation is something that needs to be learnt to. Where creeks used to run, as opposed to where they run now. Resaerch and you will be richer for it. :)

Mrgold, if you haven't learnt from your previous Creswick detecting topic, no one is going to give info up that easily without involving some research on your part, especially at a moments notice.
