I love this machine
just a spark plug clean and a little RP7 down its throat, fresh fuel in its guts andaway it goes, even after sitting for a few years :Y:

Nice old little tool! I guess it is much better than doing all by hand tool? I love nice little machine that works! Now I feel I want to grow some vegetable in the back yard in the future.

I did loosen it all up with a chip hoe first Capa, just to get some exercise ,..... got a good sweat up a few times with it all too.
Home grown veggies always taste much better too, specially when they are organically produced.
You can do it ! :Y: :rainbow:

Was out with Mrs S and Daughter taking a stroll along a beach somewhere in SEQ on the weekend when Mrs S spotted one of these ,... then we found another two in short sequence, then nothing else after scouring the entire beach ,.... recon they were coughed up from down deep as there was an exposed trough right there below them too.
Just look like normal shells

but surprises inside

the bonus for me is that eagle eyes stepped right over this in her haste to get to the shells lol.
which means I scored the best agate.

I wish there were pearls :p ,.... looks like the little shells were all seeking shelter from some calamity when they were trapped forever where they lay.

You are crabby mate :p seriously the first pics make it look huge, still very nice. If you don't like the copper i'll swap you silver for it ]:D Great find. Love the way you do your digging, man after my own heart. :Y:

As much as I'd love more silver SS :p No.1 son will probly want to make something with the copper one day ,... that's the reason I'm not selling to scrap dealers anymore for now too. Paid $15 for a 3/16" bit of brass that was around 12"X4" for him from the scrappo ,... and he's always talking about wanting to make a forge, so I figure he will make use of what I find (he's at that age where he certainly makes use of any money I find ,... can't make it go upnpast the $20 mark before it's all gone lol). :Y:
edit in: if I took that same bit of brass back to the scrappos I'd be lucky to get 20c for it ,.... somehow ,.... I want that sort of profit to rest in my family and not the scrappos lol. ]:D

Still thinking of my next silver find ,.... so near n yet so far.
Couldn't find my scrap silvers anywhere ,... oh well, them beans'll havta go without this time.
They are up at any rate.

with a fair germination rate happening, and still a few stragglers yet to rise n shine.
1504220416_screenshot_2017-09-01-08-52-27.jpg

I do so like this time of the year, with the tropical plum flowers in bloom
1504220497_screenshot_2017-09-01-08-50-48.jpg

they have the nicest nutty aroma about them when you get in close for a big wafty full lunged sniff.
1504220601_screenshot_2017-09-01-08-54-35.jpg

and once your in that close you can't help but see that delicate beauty that gives rise eventually to the most beautiful tasting tropical plums to be had from your own back yard in the sub tropics.

I kid you not ,..... just another day in Paradise ! :p

Thanks fellas ,..... not a bad shot for freehand and standing 8) old, but not shakey yet !
marksman skill put to practical purpose ,.... all in the breathing with that gentle squeeze ,.... just a prettier picture as an end result lol. :Y:

Got on the ground this morning.
Only a one coin hunt, but I'm not gunna complain at all.
1504671413_screenshot_2017-09-06-14-15-25.jpg

1504671487_screenshot_2017-09-06-14-15-10.jpg

happier still to know I was on silver
1504672032_screenshot_2017-09-06-14-14-34.jpg

took the entire bit out so as not to micro scratch the coin at all
1504671689_screenshot_2017-09-06-14-14-20.jpg

rewarded with a 1942 3d,..... then called away for a human retrieval (Mrs S so I couldn't tary) {)
