Only other one I seen was one I was playing with as a young fella at a friends house, this would in most probability not be that same gun ,... I would be amazed if it was, but would just never know.

That brings back some memories, reckon I had that exact same cap gun as a kid - great find even if it is broken. How did you go with the pocket watch bezels, plated or silver?

Just plated Gp, found them about 5 metres apart, but they fit together perfectly, so whatever bent them up must have threw them apart as well, there was a lot of broken crockery too, and a possibility it came in with some fill, that may explain both the distance and the damage ,... had done that spot years ago (obviously too quickly) :lol:

I was being toyed with earlier too ,... seen a few gothic florins turning up lately and was thinking "I'd like to get me one of those"
In the dark I was thinking ha, a gothic shilling at least ,.... but not to be, just a 1900 veiled.
