Thanks fellas.
since there was no silvers to be found today,
I was looking at my Orchids this morning, and seen the Pencil Orchid was flowering.

they're just little flowers

Then I started looking around and got carried away with the camera a little
there were oranges on the tree getting ripe

Still much to do before real paradise is reached I recon gda, but it's slowly getting there ,... it's a matter of waiting while you grow your own bit of paradise, planting the seeds and nurturing the growth is the real road to paradise, it's just a matter of being able to enjoy it in all its forms along that road ,... that is the real secret, and it doesn't even need to have order either, paradise can be found in chaos as well, just as long as you can take as much pleasure in watching new leaves grow as in watching a horde of garden maggots voraciously devouring the scraps placed in the compost bin, or buds forming out of nothing on an orchid and growing into blossoming beauties, or, seeing them having been eaten away before they even open by some rogue hopper or caterpillar that's happened across them in your absence and long gone on its venture elsewhere.
But one of the real pleasures along the road is that of tasting the fruits of your labor at its very best (before the wildlife snatches it from your clutches). :p :Y:

Young fella wanted to grow some sugarcane (he's got a sweet tooth), this is it's first year in and I think the stools get better each year for about 3 years, after that they rip em up on farms and start afresh again ,... so we might keep it growing for a few more years and see how good we can get it to grow, I'm sure we will try to make our own raw sugar from some once it flowers. :p so no fuel plans as yet.
As for the plum, well, I've got my eye on that one, it might have to ripen on the kitchen window sill. :Y: :p :p :p

My outlaws have a few fruit trees on their farm
Last year the orange tree only produced one single orange
It could be clearly seen from the kitchen tabe , where they argued about who was going to get to eat it
Unfortunately the birds got it while they were out
The tree got removed a couple of months ago ;)

They could'a just sprayed it with Mencozeb and Copper Oxychloride instead of cutting it out, or, if worst came to worse just used the root system because it was established already and just cut it back and bud grafted the next year, coulda had all their citrus on the one tree too, made it into a real show pony of a tree. oh well, thems the breaks hey !

Got down the coast for a late hunt with old mate, about the hour up till dark, not much in the way of target numbers to show, just the two.

1496830238_20170607_190456.jpg

a little hard to see, but it looks like one of those interlocking type rings, and I've never seen the sizing bar before, to make it fit a smaller finger I'd say.
got a couple of stones

I might have to go looking for the other bit ,.... maybe it slipped off while throwing a ball or some such thing, with both pieces landing far apart ?
