Knocked up a couple of classifires today out of somebits and pieces I had laying around a bit rough and ready but should do the job one has 11mm holes the other 6mm cheers Muk.

I have not made it...but am wondering if is best to make your own pick or is it best to buy one?

If I was going to make one...what would I need?

Plough disc ....its not a easy thing to get..

Went and seen some local farmers, they don't have any,

One said most people turn them into BBQ plates,

Went to 3 Engineering places and they had none,

But told me the same old story the farmers told me,

At lease I am trying to give it a go,

Yeah same,I went for a look for one today and couldn't find one anywhere.Had a look at a scrap metal yard,he had an old plough out the front with 3 or 4 discs on it.They looked a little thin for a pick though.He probably would have tried to sell me the whole plough.
