Sandta, that is a marketable piece of kit. I expect that it's heavy which is what you want for compacted sand. Luv ya Work.

Cheers Maccka, yes mate it is a bit heavy (2mm thickness stainless steel) but its heavy duty and surely up to the task.
My first beach scoop (a popular bought one) bent the first time and collapsed the second time i used it  :(
This one ( my third version) is also purpose built . The pointed nose is to penetrate gravel/rocks more easily than the rounded versions.
These are hand made. Every hole is pilot drilled then drilled and deburred.
I had to make up a little bender to form it. (That was a whole nother job in itself)
Not to mention the many cardboard template versions until i was happy.
Then work out a grid pattern that fits , mark it out and centre punch them all.
The welding at the end is the easy part ;)

The amount of time and effort could never be affordably paid for , so in that regard ,its not very marketable at all. :N:
But that was never the intension.
I now have the tools ,to do the job that they are designed for and know they wont let me down. :Y:

Today I made another Poncho, well finished it and it will be in the mail tomorrow morning for a Members wife....I had fun doing this one and even managed to add some detected button finds to it...
I like the added touch which my wife agrees to as well....Can you spot it? :) :Y:

Looks like you could make a vocational change and freelance as a realestate agent  wondered how they did it

You have a talent for it Ramjet  Have a mate that has turned a few of his photos into glass kitchen splash backs - should do one of yourself detecting and get it installed for Father's Day

Could see this behind the sink
