Sovereign Hill - where to camp?

Ill be taking the girls up to Sovereign Hill very soon and am wondering if anyone knows where a good camping spot it close nearby, if an auriferous creek or diggings are nearby even better so I can have a pan with them out there too.

We will only be out there one night and then spend a full day at the hill.
