Hi all :Y: Got out for a swing today hit the old cottage site.Scored a bit of older silver, it's been awhile :) Here's the find's....

Well found Rh, top little old silvers mate :cool:
maybe the big silver thing was for holding two glass bowls at once, one round one for dip (maybe), and a shaped one for biscuits (another maybe) ,... the shaped part looks like it was meant to be that shape don't it ! 8) :p
 
Nice pair of Victorian threepences Rockhound, I reckon that house site will be producing for a while yet. I think Silver is on the money regarding your mystery item, I found something very similar a few weeks ago for holding salt/pepper/sugar etc. :)
 
Not sure about the mystery item but the long skinny thing in the third photo to the left of the coins and button,I will bet it has Schrader made in USA stamped on it. Schrader valve off a Model T car.

Awesome :Y: :D Thanks heaps Eldorado.You're right it's a valve stem off a model T :eek: :cool: While searching I came across this it's a valve stem cover from a model T.I've found heaps of these and didn't know what they were.Will have to go through the scrap bin and save them :Y:

B5 the mystery urchin is just a roo half penny.Nah mate not the golf course :lol: The place is getting redeveloped in the near future so someone has to save the little bugga's :Y: :D
