SD 2000 to GP3500 wanted

Looking to buy a PI detector from someone I have a budget of $1500 and are looking for a good entry level machine just for gold nugget hunting.
I live in Melbourne and would love to buy from someone who might have an older machine as they might have upgraded.
I know I can buy from ebay but would like to buy from a trusted fellow prospector.
Looking at maybe SD2000 to GP3500 I'm sure I could find someone with a machine from between this era.
