First chance to get out for 2 weeks. Spent a couple of hours with Rocket at a site we have hit several times before.

I was happy enough with 4 silver coins then I got a nice silver ring as the cherry on the cake. Any ideas on what the yellow stone could be???
Another couple of interesting pieces are the Badge or shield made of lead. I cannot see any detail on it so far. The other nice find is the small "Santis" medallion. Santis is a mountain in the Swiss alps but I have not done any more research yet.

The last image is a find from a few months ago. I got myself a Gold test kit and despite having no hallmarks it comes up as 9ct going by the test kit.

Nice ring,hopefully the stone is something nice,like a Citrine or Sapphire.

Nice hunting Rod, I reckon the ring is pretty old, as Ktmman says hopefully citrine or yellow sapphire.

If you can notice that the stone is scratched then I'd lean more toward citrine, being a type of quartz, citrine is way softer that sapphire and could be scratched a lot easier.

My best guess was it is what a brass badge/plaque was attached to
.... to what or for what reason... i have know idea

Out with The Rocket today. A top day for it. I have uploaded the Version 4.1 Beta onto my Deus as well as the Go Detect app on my phone. The V4.1 seemed stable but it's early days yet with only a 2 hour hunt. I didn't do anything with the app today but start it up when we started detecting. Looks like it shows, number of detections, distance covered, as well as time and location. Seems the GPS is pout a bit as I am sure I didn't detect on the road. I will have a better look at it when I get time. Looks like you can enter details of your finds etc.

Got a few coins as well as some other bits n pieces... Pocket knife, lighter, round padlock...... OH. I got another 150th anniversary of Australia medal. That's 3 now.

And yet your still picking them up, says alot. the blue numbers ramjet? all 30 bar 1 at 40, whats the go with them? also is the 88 findings what you retrieved? or overall target signals?. looks likeit will be a handy app when you align the gps.

I don't know yet what those numbers mean. 88 targets.... lots of trash and many of those I did not dig as they sounded like..... more trash. At sites like this one we ignore the screaming, shallow targets as they are usually bottle tops and other modern garbage.
